Need help with something during your stay? This page can answer common questions
IMPORTANT – The door will NOT automatically lock when the door is closed. Please make sure you always lock the door when you leave!
Access Code – Your access code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number
Locking – From the Outside please press the bottom right button to lock the door. From the inside turn the thumb turn to lock the door.
Unlocking – From the outside simply type in your access code. From the inside turn the thumb turn to unlock.
Connection Issues – Make sure you are connecting to the correct network (Slim Shack Cabin AZ – Guest). Ensure you are typing in the correct password. If you still cannot connect please restart your device. If you need additional assistance please contact us.
Slow Connection – Starlink uses satellites to deliver internet. Sometimes the connection may be slow for brief periods but typically is fast and reliable!
Smart TVs – There are 2 Smart TVs in the cabin located in the master bedroom and main living room. Both TVs are capable of streaming your favorite services including Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney+, Paramount+ etc… There is also some free channels on the Samsung TV App.
Cable TV – There is not cable TV in the area. Please use the smart tv to load your favorite streaming services
Cell Service – There is very limited cell reception in Sherwood Forest Estates. For best results connect to our Wi-Fi network and turn on Wi-Fi Calling in your settings.
Coffee Station – The coffee machine can make a pot, a single cup of coffee, or be used with K-Pods. It is typically setup for the K-Pods but the alternative single cup is under the catch tray. More K-Pods and coffee grounds can be found above the stove.
Air Conditioning – The cabin does NOT have central air conditioning. There is small wall unit in the master bedroom. This unit is NOT capable of cooling down the house. For best results make sure you close the bedroom door when the air conditioner is on.
Heating – The cabin is equipped with central heating. This can be controlled by the smart nest thermostat located in the hallway
Trash Service – Trash is picked up every Thursday morning. Please make sure ALL your trash is bagged up and thrown away!
Conservation – All water in sherwood forest estates comes from individual water tanks on each property. Water is very limited and must be hauled in. There is more than enough water for the entirety of your stay but please me conscious of the limited water.
Delivery – You may notice a truck come in during your stay. They are coming in to deliver water to make sure you don’t run out!
